Dog Training
Do you look forward to taking your dog out for a walk or does it stress you out?
Does your dog pull your arm out of your socket, or bark at everything they see?
Do they just not listen to you when you call them?
If you're really struggling with your dog's behaviour and it's making you feel anxious and embarrassed, I can help.
Let me take the weight off your shoulders and work with you and your dog.
Bespoke Dog Training

Puppy and Dog Training classes are not for every pup. If you think your dog is better suited to one-to-one training (happy to discuss this), see below.

Katherine is available Monday to Wednesday for 121s. In the sessions, she will set up practical training scenarios for you, help you learn to develop the skills to handle your dog correctly along with giving you a full understanding of why your dog does what they do, what we can do to change that and help you understand them better.

Follow On Classes (for pups over five months old & and for those who have attended
Puppy Fundamentails)

The Follow On course is designed to build on what you learned in Level 1 ‘Puppy Fundamentails’ (or an equivalent course) in a fun and friendly group environment. Classes are kept small again to make sure your teen pup receives the attention they deserve, and classes are for 50 minutes.
During the sessions, you’ll learn how to teach your dog a range of new skills like distance cues, scent work as well as settle.
You’ll also learn how to progress behaviours such as lead walking, recall, and impulse control.
Follow-on sessions are PAYG and are developed to help you have a stronger partnership with your dog and for your life together.
If your teen pup has had no formal training prior to the class, please book a one-to-one sessions beforehand.

Follow On syllabus:

Load Up - help pups be comfortable being picked up

"Katherine was recommended to us by our dog walker and she did not disappoint! She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. She took her time, within the session, to get to know our routines and bond with our dog; there was no rush with the session. She was understanding of our situation, gave us numerous helpful tips to move forward with and we have seen a real difference in our dog".

"I used Positive Canine Coaching for my "teenage" German Shepherd dog and the training has been fantastic. People have noticed an improvement in Buzz's behaviour since we began the Teenage Pups classes. Katherine has been very responsive, we had small classes and she was available through WhatsApp to discuss any concerns with her and our other classmates. Her communication was brilliant, some people are good with dogs but not so much with people but she was great with both! I highly recommend Positive Canine Coaching".
